With the high speed Thalys train from Brussels to Paris

We live very close to Brussels and travel frequently for a day trip to Paris. It is a fabulous city and they have super restaurants. The distance between the two cities is a little bit more than 300 km but the high speed Thalys does the trip in only 1 hour and 22 minutes. The advantage is that you don’t have to check in, you just go to the train station, step in, have breakfast, check your e-mail, read the newspaper and you arrive in the beautiful Gare du Nord in Paris. What a luxury, high speed internet on a high speed train.

  1. Lucky you (and lucky Kristel)! Start your day in Brussels, have lunch in Paris, and rest on the train on your way home. Nice!

  4. 1 hour and 22 minutes? Too accurate, you must be a precise person, I've heard about French dishes, it is said it is wonderful and so delicious, if there were a chance to travel around the world, i will set my feet on France first and then Turkey, for you may have guessed it, yeah, for the delicious food, i want to have a taste of the top 3 food among the world. Sounds nice

  9. You are right, but you also missed some points...the Thalys is so extremely dirty and sometimes the trains are also stinky and very often late...I am not at all impressed with the service offered. Much better is the ICE in Germany!
